RESULTS OF TEAM INDOOR SHOW JUMPING
Good news! At our first area competition of the season, one of our four teams came 3rd out of 20 teams. Well done to Jo and Secret, Isobel and Jet, Jess and Tasha and Victoria and Layla. Jo, Jess and Caroline all jumped double clears, Well done, too to Vanessa and Storm who went clear and to Pam who did especially well on young Apple and to all our other representatives who competed on the day,
Thanks to everyone, including Pam, Rachel, Jess, Sammy, Jess, Kelly, Helen, Nicky, Caroline, Jo, Isobel, Victoria and Charlotte for turning out on the day for the Club. We were also glad to see several of our members who were not riding came along to encourage the teams. Also its nice to see that our sj trainer- ANDREW GARNERs tuition is starting to reap rewards!
Our next outing will be the Hunter Trials Qualifier at Wittering. If you wish to compete, please give Isobel or Helen your name as quickly as possible. Remember – you need to be a paid up member (on record at BRC HQ) 3 clear weeks before you compete, so let Victoria have your subs and form in good time for it to be sent off to Stoneleigh! Also your horse MUST have an up to date and complete flu vacc.(IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF YOUR FLU VACS ARE CORRECT, YOUR VET WILL BE PLEASED TO CHECK THESE OR ISOBEL OR JO CAN ALSO CHECK THEM) One more reminder, you need to pay your entry fee for the event BEFOREHAND please. The entry fee for the hunter trail will be £20.(All monies to be forwarded to Isobel)
Going back a bit, thank you to everyone who helped at our indoor show jumping at Hill House. It was disappointing not to see more of our members competing at our own show. Well done to Sam Chessman who was second in the Intermediate and Nicky Way who won the Open. Thanks to our course builder- AMANDA COLE ,who built a really good variety of courses throughout the day.
Welcome to new members, Michelle Toynbee, Andrea Ellis, Rachel Abbott, Caitlin Turnham, Laura Hawkins, Jane Cox, , Caroline Hayhurst, Nik Casburn, Louise Way, Jacqui Beard, Lisa Christopher and Stephen Richardson. We now have 75 paid up members for 2007 and look forward to seeing you all at our events during the year. Don’t forget our hunter trial at Eagle on 1st April and dressage and Clear Round jumping at Laughterton on 14th April. If anyone is able to help at these events please ring Jo Flear Charlton
